Tentrax Highlighted in Beyond Boundaries Magazine

Earlier this year, we were contacted by Fred Krijgsman, the editor and publisher of Beyond Boundaries, a globally recognized off-road magazine. Fred lives in the Netherlands and distributes the magazine quarterly to over 5 million readers. He is a fan of Tentrax and contacted us to highlight Tentrax trailers and the new Trax Kitchen in the upcoming edition of his magazine.

The best thing about the Beyond Boundaries magazine is the stories told through the articles. Not only do you learn about great new products, you really hear about the companies themselves and the people behind them. We wanted to share with Fred why we decided to purchase the company last year, and how this has really driven our vision and plan for Tentrax as well as decisions we have made for our own family. We also wanted to include how much we’ve learned about the agility and capability of Tentrax as we’ve pulled it behind our ’93 Jeep YJ. Our customers love to share their stories of trips to the infamous Rubicon trail or the off-road mecca Moab, Utah while pulling their Tentrax trailers.

In addition to the stories of using the Tentrax on some of the best trails in the US, we also wanted to be sure to include how we are working to revitalize the Tentrax brand with new products such as the Overlook, the Trax Kitchen, and the Tentrax rooftop tent, as well as a focus on updated marketing and content.

In the article, we highlighted customer Jeff Wolf (@goldgravelandtravel / GoldGravelandTravel.com), the first to purchase the new Tentrax Overlook. Jeff is from Buffalo, NY but owns a gold claim in the mountains of California. He purchased the trailer to travel cross-country to his gold claim and explore the US on his way. He spent weeks in Big Bend National Park, the Baja peninsula, and the American Southwest, all while backcountry camping in his Tentrax. Jeff says “I first met the owners of Tentrax while on the road in New Mexico. Over the course of a few months, we had many discussions about the perfect overlanding setup. I had been on the road long enough by then to realize what I liked and what I didn’t like about my setup. I had looked at other trailer styles including teardrops and off-road utility trailers. I wasn’t convinced these could go where I wanted them to go or wouldn’t weigh well over 1,000 pounds and put a ton of wear and tear on my Jeep. The owners of Tentrax were more than happy to work with me and design a custom trailer that was exactly what I wanted.”
