4x4 trailer's demanding off road capabilities are inherently built into each Tentrax trailer, whether for rock crawling or highway cruising. The Tentrax frame, tub, and axle's physical design result in a backcountry trailer optimized for strength and durability.

Complex engineering and innovative designing have resulted in a Rock Rail frame that withstands off road abuse. Even the 3/16 plate steel Rock Crawler bumper was designed to increase departure angle, along with having a 2 inch receiver built in for recovery. The plate steel OffRoad Skid Plate allows the Tentrax to slide over large boulders or deep mud and snow, plus the side impact Nerf Bars let it deflect obstacles without even a scratch. Traversing a river or stream is no problem either as your gear will stay dry in our water tight body.

Tentrax bodies are constructed of hand laid-up fiberglass. Fiberglass is highly resistant to any type of chemical action. (Remember they make boat hulls, airplanes, both Dakar and  Baja off road race vehicles from this stuff.) It will not age or corrode. Fiberglass is extremely strong, it has great impact strength, yet is flexible enough to be molded into any contour. It has much higher strength than mild steel but twice the torsional flexibility. Unlike steel, it's field serviceability is quick and easy resulting in an "as new" appearance; not a wrinkle, dent welded eyesore. When abusing your Tentrax trailer you will appreciate this superior construction as the years pass.
